Sharing the History of Dallastown
The Dallastown Area Historical Society is the leading body for preserving and promoting the history in Dallastown, PA. The Dallastown Area Historical Society keeps records from the naming of Dallastown after former vice president George M. Dallas to the modern day bicentennial celebration and beyond. The historical society owns a museum located at 118 E. Main Street, Dallastown PA 17313. This building is open to the public to display the history of Dallastown on the first Sunday of the month from 1 PM to 4 PM. Quarterly Board Meetings are held Thursday at 7:00 pm. Dates for 2024 meetings are January 4, April 4, July 11, and October 3. In person meetings are held at 118 E. Main Street facility. Enter at the rear of the building. Zoom meetings may be held as warranted by weather or public health conditions.
