Tackle backlog of collections items

  • During weekly work sessions, many of previously uncatalogued items have now been sorted, entered, and displayed, archived, or distributed
  • Past Perfect procedures are developing as donated  items are entered by group or location
  • Additional investment in technology now allows remote cataloguing

Explore additional revenue sources for facility improvements

  • Participation in the Give Local York Campaign netted just under $5,000.
  • Reapplying for Open Spaces Funds resulted in securing $30,000 for roof repairs
  • Other grant options are being explored

Expand community presence and participation

  • Develop strategies for building revenue streams
  • Prepare and adopt a formal deaccession policy
  • Seek partnerships with community organizations: Bridges for Brianna (event stand), Public Disco Porch (parade float), York Co Regional Police (National Night Out)
