Sharing the History of Dallastown
The Oral History of Dallastown Area Schools was compiled by forty-nine eighth graders in two American History classes taught by Mr. Mark Koons. The project was an attempt to capture the experiences and memories of a few people who were essential to each specific topic at Dallastown while giving students an opportunity to experience history firsthand and to place the loca history of Dallastown within the overall context of United States history. Oral histories are not always accurate, but do provide important information abour feelings and impressions.
